The Gran Fondo Hincapie ride returned to the Queen City for its third consecutive year Saturday, giving bike riders a chance to enjoy a scenic 15, 50, or 80-mile ride.
More than 300 cyclists participated in the event, which was founded by Rich Hincapie, the brother of former professional cyclist George Hincapie.
Riders from across the country made their way from downtown Bangor to as far as Castine and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge.
This year, the Gran Fondo Hincapie Bangor featured Timed Speed Zones along select marked sections of the course.
