As we unite to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, one truth stands out: the path to rebuilding lies in our hands. The Hincapie family, alongside our extended family of cyclists, will not remain idle. We will ride, fueled by a greater purpose. For over 14 years, we’ve been supported by the incredible generosity of our neighbors in Polk County, North Carolina—always friends, always there for us, never asking for anything in return. Now, they need us more than ever. So, we’re gearing up to ride and refocus our mission: to raise One Million Dollars to help the residents of Polk County begin their recovery. In the wake of the storm, we immediately began rethinking and reshaping the Gran Fondo Hincapie into a global fundraiser for our neighbors in need. We’ve collaborated with local partners and authorities to create new routes with safety as our priority. Beyond that, every aspect of the Fondo has been tailored to maximize fundraising, including special dinners, live auctions, and targeted events—all aimed at achieving our goal. That’s how we roll. Together, we will rally the global cycling community to make a meaningful impact. Don’t stand still.
