Hincapie Spring Series
The Off Season Is Officially Over
For more than 25 years, the Hincapie Spring Series has been a staple on the USA Cycling race calendar. The series of races in March and April provide benchmark training for competitive riders through road races and criteriums. Come out to race or come out to watch. For the spring of 2022, we are partnering with the long-running Tiger Town Classic presented by Clemson Cycling Team and TopView Sports as one of our race weekends. Although we are not the promoters for this event, we will still assign omnium points for this weekend based on the results. This race also serves as the Southeast Collegiate Cycling Conference Finals and is a fundraiser for the organization as well as the Clemson cycling team.
The Hincapie Spring Series honors the top three performers in 6 categories for the overall omnium awards. All races follow USA Cycling rules and regulations.
Omnium Prizes
Series overall points awarded to top 10 riders in each race (10 – 1 points). Overall cash prizes awarded to top 3 riders in each category after the races. Ties will be broken according to USCF rule 202. Equal prize payouts for men and women. *Men’s Category 3 scored separately for USAC points only, not for payout.

USA Cycling Rules and Regulations
All USA Cycling rules and regulations apply. Races held rain or shine. No aero bars. US DOT, CPSC, or other approved helmets required for all races, including warm up and cool down. Paper forms for USAC one-day and annual race license applications will be available at registration, but it is much faster to purchase or renew those online at usacycling.org. Water bottles, banana peels, gel wrappers, etc. may NOT be discarded on the courses or parking lots (relegation or DQ will result). Wheels in / wheels out, if available.
Fields limited to 150 riders. Cat 5 races limited to 75.

Each race entry will be $40 (Junior race: $25). Additional race on same day is $20. Same day registration is $45.
