Gran Fondo Hincapie-Fort Worth Cancelled

Posted On March 12, 2020 / Lifestyle

The 2020 Gran Fondo Hincapie-Fort Worth event, set to take place March 28, is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in consideration of advice from health officials nationwide, Gran Fondo Hincapie has announced that they will cancel the 2020 event set to take place on March 28 in Sundance Square.

This decision comes with much disappointment, as Hincapie Events has been working for a year to prepare for this ride, and we realize this cancellation brings frustration for our participants. However, the health and well-being of the Fort Worth and greater cycling community is our top priority. It is our hope that we have made this announcement in enough time for registrants to adjust their travel plans accordingly.

Hincapie Events will mail Gran Fondo Hincapie-Fort Worth registrants their rider packets and cycling apparel to the mailing address they used when registering. If riders would like their packets sent to a different address, please email by March 25, 2020. Packets will be mailed by March 27.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for the Fort Worth event. For more information about our refund policy, please visit our website. However, we invite those who registered for Gran Fondo Hincapie-Fort Worth 2020 to transfer their registration to 2020 Gran Fondo Hincapie rides in Chattanooga or Greenville at no cost. Registrants will receive an email to the email address they used when registering for the Fort Worth ride with a unique code to use to transfer.

Hincapie Events thanks everyone for their understanding and cooperation. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the situation and COVID-19.
